Deana joined Katz Pediatrics in September 2014. She and Dr. Katz previously worked together in Jupiter from 2007 to 2012. A Florida native, Deana attended Suncoast High School and then went on to graduate from the University of Florida with a degree in Nursing (RN). In December 2004 she earned her ARNP designation and has been practicing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner since then. Previously she worked at Shands Hospital as a staff Nurse in the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. 

Deana is married to Steve Angel, a mechanical engineer in Palm Beach Gardens. The couple met at the University of Florida, and they continue to be passionate Gator fans. They live in Palm City with their son Braylon and their rescue dog Haywood. Deana enjoys fitness, diving, fishing, boating, and paddle boarding. She is a fabulous addition to the Katz Pediatrics Provider team.
